This study is a result of a collaboration with the BC Greenhouse Growers Association (BCGGA), BCLNA, and UFG (United Flower Growers Association). The Steering Committee includes growers, associations, government representatives, and the lead consultant from Consolidated Management Consultants Ltd. The intent of the project was to explore new emerging renewable energy and technologies that could help the greenhouse industry reduce greenhouse gas emissions while maintaining profitability goals. Our approach evaluates realistic feasibility to position the industry to anticipate challenges and opportunities.
