WITHIN BC
The Buy BC Partnership Program reopens January 9 to February 2, 2024. This funding requires you to have a Buy BC Logo license, which isn’t difficult, but verifies that the products are grown/processed in BC. Eligible activities under the Program include paid advertising, labelling or packaging with a Buy BC logo, marketing collateral and promotional materials, BC focused market development trade shows and sales expositions, and BC focused in-store demonstrations and promotions. OUTSIDE BC
The BC Agriculture and Food Export Program also reopens on January 8, closing on February 2, 2024 at 4:00 PM. This Program provides cost-shared funding to undertake market development activities outside of BC, enabling sector businesses and associations to maintain, expand, and/or diversify export markets. These programs are a part of BC’s Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership programming; a five-year, $3.5B investment by federal-provincial-territorial governments, to strengthen and grow the agriculture and food sector. Funding is administered on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food by MNP LLP (‘Program Management’).
