This program provides funding for community-scale projects that reduce flood risks for the broader community and support an increase in their resiliency to floods and restore local ecosystems. Additionally, individual producers in the Fraser Valley can apply for flood mitigation activities on farm to support their flood resiliency. Depending on the project, the maximum can be up to $200,000 with a funding ratio of 90% paid by the program.
