The CAHRC is one of the industry partners working with Trucking HR Canada in addressing the ongoing shortage of drivers. Trucking and Logistics employers (including farm operations) can access funding to cover the cost of entry level training and onboarding.
Funding includes:
- Up to $10,000 for driver training
- Up to $10,000 wage incentive to onboard the new driver upon training completion
This grant is open to new hires and current employees who are looking to upskill into a driving role.
