Off-grid Oasis

Perched high in the Canadian Rockies, this off-grid retreat challenged Canadian Rockies Landscape Corp to design a landscape kilometers away from conventional resources. We were hired to transform just over 1.5 hectares (3.8 acres) into a setting that feels like part of the mountain itself. Featuring functional and beautiful purpose-built spaces that blend native plants, fire-smart principles, and natural stonework, into a restorative sanctuary. In collaboration with Alpha & Omega Architectural and Interior Design, the focus was to create every space to reflect the client’s vision of living simply, beautifully, and sustainably in the wild, with four-season interest and craftsmanship evident in every detail.
