As many businesses were forced to close their doors and discontinue services last spring, landscape service providers continued to work under the grey areas of construction and building maintenance, with no real certainty that the sector was considered ‘essential’.

As the we enter a second wave of COVID-19 and restrictions once again sweep the country, BCLNA has pursued having landscape services deemed essential by the Ministry of Agriculture. While non-essential services have not been restricted at this time, we encourage you to share this letter with your industry colleagues and clients.
