CFIA is changing how it responds when Phytophthora ramorum is detected at a nursery. Response activities will be more targeted and will decrease the impact of a detection on an affected nursery. These changes align more closely with current US survey and eradication methods.

The revised response protocol PI-010: Regulatory response protocol for nurseries confirmed with Phytophthora ramorum (replacing PI-010 and PI-011) is now available for implementation, to support the start of the 2019 plant health survey season.
