WorkSafeBC has developed a checklist for employers to review and update their COVID-19 safety plan. All employers are encouraged to download and complete the checklist.
On November 7 the PHO issued revised orders for the Vancouver Coast Health and Fraser Health Authority regions. As a result, WorkSafe has updated information on their website; in an interview on CKNW November 12, a representative indicated that inspections would likely be increased, especially to businesses where social distancing may be an issue.
WorkSafe suggests that now is a good time to review your COVID-19 Safety Plan, and in accordance with PHO requirements, ensure that it is posted on the job site.
Additionally, there are new posters available pertaining to staff and visitors entering the workplace.
