There are programs for wildfire, flood, and extreme heat, and a NEW stream for Innovation Projects that will help define other practices that assist in extreme weather adaptation. Flood protection includes improved on-farm fuel storage, fill pads for farm buildings, well protection, and more. Extreme heat eligible items include overhead canopy evaporative cooling/sprinkler systems, fogging systems, and other evaporative cooling systems such as cooling walls/towers.
