Berries

A berry farm is a busy place to work and there is opportunity to learn a variety of skills and work as a team. Duties include harvesting, cultivation, sorting fruit, prepare fields, raise crops, spraying, irrigation, lifting berry containers, packing, stacking, pruning, tying as well other general farm work duties:

• Weigh and pack sorted farm produce.
• Examine produce for quality and prepare for market.
• Load, unload and transfer farm produce.

The berry sector is busy during the following times:  Strawberry sector is busy from June to July, Raspberries June to August, Blueberries June to September; Huckleberries August to September;  Blackberries July to September;
