Farmer Survey on the effects of COVID-19 – Week of May 4th
The Canadian Federation of Agriculture is seeking input from Canadian farmers and ranchers through weekly surveys to identify any issues caused by the COVID-19 outbreak that are affecting your farm businesses.
The survey information gathered weekly will help inform communications as we work with government to support Canadian agriculture throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Complete this week’s survey (link below) by Thursday, April 30th at 9 a.m. PST. A new survey will be available each Monday morning as the pandemic continues.
Feds Announce changes to Canada Summer Jobs Program

HELP EMPLOYEES MANAGE STRESS RELATED TO COVID 19
When: Tuesdays and Fridays, 10:45 – 11:55 until May 12
After May 12: $300 per workshop
Maximum enrollment: 10
This 70 minute virtual workshop is designed to address the anxiety workers experience due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Changes to how we work, health, worries for our loved ones and ourselves, and uncertainty about the future can make it difficult to focus and feel calm and settled. Employees will learn strategies to manage their stress, and receive practical tools to help them thrive.
Participants must have access to a laptop or desktop computer or a cellphone, and ideally have access to private space
