NEW! Risk Assessment Templates: WorkSafe BC requires employers to have a COVID-19 safety plan that assesses the risk of exposure at their workplace and implements measures to keep their workers safe. The risk assessment templates developed by BCLNA are a guide to be used to assist employers with complying with PHO and WorkSafe BC COVID-19 directives. These templates can be edited and customized to suit your business and operations. These templates are to be continuously reviewed and updated by your organization as directives and orders change. It is important to involve workers, supervisors, and joint health and safety committee representatives in risk assessments.

Letter for Landscapers, non-essential services and the public eye: Landscapers are under public scrutiny now more than ever. While the industry designation as an ‘essential service’ remains grey, it is imperative that company’s services are in compliance with Public Health regulations and the Best Management Practices to continue operating. This includes performing only essential services and informing clients and the public of the steps you are taking to mitigate spread and exposure of COVID-19. Please share this letter with industry colleagues, groups or affiliates, and anyone else you think may benefit from this message. The more we can spread this message, the stronger our industry will be to continue providing important services during this challenging time.
Letter for homeowners, clients and the public: This is a customizable document explaining why landscape services are important and necessary during a time when many operations are ceasing. This can be supplied in crew trucks for staff to hand out when being interrogated about why they are working, and the steps landscapers are taking to keep everyone safe.
NEW Facebook Group! – By request of the Landscape Advisory Group, the BCLNA has developed a closed Facebook group for BCLNA landscape member companies.
