BMPs for Landscapers – This document outlines reccomended practices and procedures for operation during COVID-19 for landscape businesses in BC

BMPs Checklist for Crews – A simplified version of the first document to be used by crews onsite. This document can also be handed to any clients or concerned members of the public to demonstrate how your company operations are aligned with COVID-19 protocols.

Letter for Landscapers, non-essential services and the public eye: Landscapers are under public scrutiny now more than ever. While the industry designation as an ‘essential service’ remains grey, it is imperative that company’s services are in compliance with Public Health regulations and the Best Management Practices to continue operating. This includes performing only essential services and informing clients and the public of the steps you are taking to mitigate spread and exposure of COVID-19. Please share this letter with industry colleagues, groups or affiliates, and anyone else you think may benefit from this message. The more we can spread this message, the stronger our industry will be to continue providing important services during this challenging time.

Letter for homeowners, clients and the public: This is a customizable document explaining why landscape services are important and necessary during a time when many operations are ceasing. This can be supplied in crew trucks for staff to hand out when being interrogated about why they are working, and the steps landscapers are taking to keep everyone safe.

NEW Facebook Group! – By request of the Landscape Advisory Group, the BCLNA has developed a closed Facebook group for BCLNA landscape member companies. This is to stimulate conversation around the COVID-19 crisis and for members to gather ideas and solutions for issues or questions they may have.
